Keeping up with your Circles of Influence

Last week, I spent most of the week, learning with, networking, golfing and dining some of the most influencial folks in our Promotional Marketing industry.
A couple of the take-aways that I found there was to make sure that you are keeping yourself and your personal brand in-tune with some of the most influencial folks that you know of in your industry.
One of our most interesting exercises, what to have each of our (60) attendees take on a personna of a very influencial person in business, politics, technology and the internet. After learning a little more about that individual, we were to bring back to our group, what we (as that person) would suggest for our industry practioners to incorporate, in order to assist our Association members in their business growth.

http://www.ppai.org/ is our industry association.

I'll continue to post out here as regularly as I can to assist industry professionals, and company marketing professionals in their quest to find the best value incorporating promotional products and incentives into their brand, recognition and marketing programs

Sounds like a great excercise. Golfing helps individuals create a newtork through sport.
